So ESPN's top 25 got me thinking. Plus, they have had Hoosier's on alot lately. There is this one line from the movie, that ALWAYS gives me goosebumps.

Here are some of my favorites:

"Don't get caught watching the paint dry!" - Dennis Hopper after calling "The Picket Fence" play (THIS ONE IS MY ALL TIME FAV)

"Hey dad. Wanna play catch?" - Kevin Costner in Field of Dreams

"Welcome to foot, ball!" - Kathy Ireland in Necessary Roughness

"And I think you should know, that he hates dogs, he hates old people and he hates kids" - Kevin Costner in Tin Cup

Speaking of that movie. The girl who was crying ....her son's name was "Stilwell", which happens to be my name also.

So I add to my list:

"Stilwell angel!!! Have another chocolate bar!!"

James Earl Jones is pretty good in Field of Dreams too: That whole erased like a blackboard speech.

"You guys...you lollygag the ball around the infield. You lollygag your way down to first. You lollygag in and out of the dugout. You know what that makes you? Larry!"
    "Lollygaggers!"
    "Lollygaggers."

    Bull Durham.

Great movie and my friends and I, to this day, use the word Lollygaggers. Love it!

Almost forogt, also from Bull Durham:

After Nuke gives up a huge home run.
"God, that sucker teed off the nut like he knew I was gonna throw a fast ball."
    "He did know."
    "How?"
    "I told him."

Carl Spackler: "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

I always liked the line in Hoosiers:

    "My team's on the floor."

And it even continues with the whole "How did we ever win eight?" "It's a miracle" bit.

That was one of Trey Wilson's last roles before he died (it was released about six months before his death). Never a big star, but usually good for a few laughs in the movies he was in.

    "My God, they've shot him!"
