you can't pay 10 guys from the same draft class and expect them to be really good. our core is green sengun and christopher. we'll have to see if smith eason or tyty becomes part of the core.
from Reddit “We have a pretty gigantic gulf on what the Nets value is on Kevin Durant and what the market is willing to pay.” - Windhorst “Phoenix isn’t only one on the wishlist, I am told it is by far number one on the wishlist.” - Lowe “Today, right now, the Suns are not offering four picks.” - Windhorst “The Nets would love to get a charcuterie board and champagne for Kyrie Irving, but I think we’re heading closer to spam and apple juice.” - Windhorst “The only team is the Los Angeles Lakers. I think it eventually is going to happen, but it’s going to be a fight along the way.” - Windhorst “If you don’t like your options in the NBA, the best thing you can do is wait. The Nets don’t like their options and i agree with Zach Lowe, another team could get involved later on with Kyrie Irving.” - Windhorst Zach Lowe mentions we should see some movement with Ayton on Saturday. Making of a Suns deal could be: Nets: Mitchell, Bridges, Johnson Suns: KD Jazz: Simmons, Ayton
Yes. Ayton won’t be a designated rookie. That’s reserved for rookies who sign a 5 yr extension before they become a free agent.
on designated rookie extensions: Bam Adebayo (Heat) Devin Booker (Suns) Luka Doncic (Mavericks) Joel Embiid (Sixers) De’Aaron Fox (Kings) Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Thunder) Donovan Mitchell (Jazz) Jamal Murray (Nuggets) Michael Porter Jr. (Nuggets) Ben Simmons (Nets) Jayson Tatum (Celtics) Karl-Anthony Towns (Timberwolves) Andrew Wiggins (Warriors) Trae Young (Hawks) Atyon doesn't appear to be on the list. Only Booker from the Suns. sauce1, sauce2
[Windhorst] The Nets heard Durant's trade request, and they said, "let's work together to get you out of here" and so that's why I believe the notion that they'll bring him back is a negotiating position. They also had no interest in Irving long term, essentially telling him they didn't want him.
I know I'm not bringing much into the conversation here but damn Durant is a tool. Can't wait until he goes to his new team and demands a trade 8 months later.
My best guess is that BK stands pat and they all agree to give it a run this year. After all, a healthy Simmons/ Irving/ Durant has devastating potential…
Kyrie is not the type to go back to a place he’s not wanted and give it his all/cause no problems KD wants out…he’ll be moody, distant, passive aggressive, and continue to pressure for a trade Ben Simmons hasn’t played in over a year Steve Nash still sucks Rockets 15-16 season incoming
wouldn’t even be surprised if KD pulls a Harden…ball out for a few games to start the season and then just go through the motions until a trade is finally completed
Yes, yes. However, Occam’s razor and all that ****… best answer is joe, kyrie, and kevin sit down like adults and discuss the easiest way for everyone to get a ring…
Brooklyn might want to give it another year, but that doesn't mean KD/Irving do. My bet is, if Irving leaves, KD is either gone physically (traded) or gone mentality (made to stay put and unhappy). So checking out is KD's leverage. I am sure Brooklyn was paying attention when Harden pulled his act to get out of Houston. I am sure KD knows it also. So that is it. If your Brooklyn, its not as simple as just deciding not to trade him.
