Why not have two players set some staggered screens for Smith? I see little reason for him to set the screen on a PnR. He's clearly not comfortable doing that. Let someone else have that role. Then maybe Smith's catching the ball with a clear idea that it's his turn to make a play. Screen for Smith, then go disappear behind the 3-point line.
To clarify, (my opinion based on all I've read and heard) is YES Banchero is the better player today and NBA ready. But Smith has the highest ceiling and is a better fit alongside Green. Time will tell - not tonights Summer League game.

Biggest takeaway for me is we need decent young centre. Smith is not a centre. Garuba IMO is a bust. Sengun can't do it alone. Boban............ hmm
Jabari does not have the higher ceiling. He will never be close to the playmaker/passer that Paolo is.
