i'm really getting sick of the hakeem - david robinson comparisons.

david actually plays for the full season. hakeem is like an old mustang - fun to drive, when it's working, but most of the time it's in the shop.

how can anyone justify giving 10 million to someone who can't make it through a full season without busting a water hose or blowing a radiator?

doesn't excuse reprehensible behavior in the present????????????? What reprehensible behavior?? Just because he is trying to negotiate a fair market deal? DRob just did that and got his value of 11mil. Mutumbo got his 13mil. What is wrong with Dream trying to get his market value? That's reprehensible???????? You would do the same thing in your job.

OT: You're not even reading my posts [IMG].

I said that if he plays for another team, I'll still cheer for him. I said that if he maliciously led the Rockets on out of resentment for his diminished role and purposefully sabotaged their free agent efforts, then I would boo him. That's not the "business" angle; that's the evil plot, scenario. I've already stated I didn't think he would do this; it's a hypothetical.

Sorry I miss understood you. The "doesn't excuse reprehensible behavior in the present" was quoted right out of your post. I just want us to sign Dream and let's get the season started. I hate the off season.

You know what, I've booed Dream as well as used colorful language during those few occasions Dream was playing horribly or acting like an A$$, while he's been a Rocket of course.

But if he resigned with another team, I probably wouldn't boo him. Funny, I don't usually root against former Rocks (well, except for Pipsqueak).
