He’s probably just pissed at himself, he slams his bat after bad swings too. Would rather a guy care and get upset than otherwise.

Nah... it will be Korey Lee, so Altuve can get consecutive days off.

Zero reason for Dubon to be batting leadoff in this game. That alone is not the reason they lost this game, but it sure as hell hasn't helped.

Well the "young guns" team wasn't that good, at least tonight. A bit surprised at Javier's performance, because he has been so effective of late. Baseball is an usual game, really like no other. I was getting giddy; this is a reality check.

Yep, Dusty is an idiot when it comes to just placing someones replacement into their normal spot in the order. I have no issue with Altuve getting the day off today, but batting Dubon leadoff is laughable

And I like Dubon and his versatility. But a guy who .225 ON BASE % this year and .290 for his career leading off...sheesh

And he came into the game 2 for his last 19

Many times these decisions don't end up making the difference in games...but sometimes they do...Dubon came up in a big spot tonight and pooped

The batters behind and before the changes in the lineup will get a completely different look in any case... rearrange the lineup to maximize skill sets... not just minimize the effort Dusty needs to put into these lineups. There is no way in **** like some folks here argue that the front office designed this.

This Royals team can go **** off. What an annoying bunch. Melendez trash ass hitter turning into Barry Bonds against us, always some scrub poppin off like that.

Please just get the W tomorrow and be done with these clowns.

Always Dusty's fault? Couldn't be the players didn't have a good game collectively?

Pitching was invariably due a speed bump. Weird that it has come against the Royals, but it was due to happen.

That MADE sense. But he's beginning to hit enough to bat toward the middle of the order. I hope he keeps it up. Altuve is another player who now hits too well to lead off, at least under traditional thinking where just getting on base was the priority. It's become more of a power position ala Springer, but it needs to also be about avoiding high DP contact hitters in the middle of the order.
