    $1.75 here.

    $1.87 down the street.

    $1.95 around the corner.

    $1.69 a few blocks down the road.

    What the hell is going on with gas prices these days??? Its like no station can make up its mind......

    i saw 1.87 and 1.62 today! WTF?

    We should alert each other of the cheapest gas in various parts of Houston, because $1.80 is just ridiculous.

    I was filling up in LaPorte yesterday at 1.81 when I saw 1.69 across the highway. D'oh.

    Its $1.84 right by my office at Shell.

    2 miles down Clay Road at Citgo its $1.69.

    WTF?!?!?!

    Good stuffs in this thread.

    In Sugarland, it's 1.79 while at Deerfield (Clay and Barker Cypress), it's 1.85... not much of a difference, but it DOES fluctuate... AND:

    I'd put the factors in as:
    1. Quality of place (sEXXon vs. She-ll vs. Citgo vs. Sunny's Food Store)
    2. Quality of GAS (same as #1)
    3. Service (high-tech pumps vs. low_quality pumps)
    4. Place in Metro area (Alief & Katy much cheaper than Houston)
    5. Tax area (Alief's Tax is 6.25%, Houston is 8.25%
