honestly, idk enough about Victor and his injuries... beyond the hype...
i'm not even a college basketball fan...
i just know watching Chet's gangly self just running down the court looks concerning... lol

Well i do and I just know Chet stuffs the stat sheet and wins a lot of games doing so and is an elite prospect

Meanwhile nobody who was a Chet hater should be advocating for Victor

Paolo may be in for a rude awakening tomorrow. I can envision him pressing to have a big offensive night after Skim's most impressive debut. That might play right into the pickpocketing hands of Tari and Jabari. Let's see if Banchero can play ketchup with One as he bombs away from the logo.

I may be in the minority, but I thought all top 5 picks in this year’s draft are excellent players and will all shine in the nba. After the top 5 it’s harder to tell, but those top 5 picks were all very very solid players.

I said this in NBA Dish thread i started, but whats different/better about Ivey compared to Mathurin? Same age, same college experience, Mathurin generally better stats/advanced stats and maybe not quite as athletic as Ivey, but incredibly athletic... plus more of a clear position - SG, vs. Ivey's combo guard...?

Have to admit, Chet looked like the real deal. Whatever happens there is no denying he is super talented, plus he seems to have that drive to exceed. Basketball is a sport of what ifs... This is just another example. No worries, what if we got he 5th pick???

A lot of hype around the Jabari/Paolo matchup - you know they're going hard at each other even though it's SL.

So I guess you are against drafting Victor Wamby at 1 next year. Also thin frame, a little taller and unlike Chet, had already seen some minor injuries.

bingo. but don't expect consistency in logic around here. most folks here aren't good at that. they pick and choose when narratives apply

Yeah if he had Paolo handles he'd have been consensus first pick...kind of like if Paolo had his shooting ability.

And if Chet had to Paolo's body.

I think they will all be very good NBA players though.

I'm also excited to see Tari and Tyty play. I'm probably the most excited about Tari for some reason. I think he's been slept on and his potential is underrated.

It's so hilarious all the absolutely batshit crazy Chet fans literally quoting people who aren't even part of "the narrative" they claim, ignoring their responses and doubling down. The intellectual dishonesty is so hilarious when you see these people acting superior. Lunatics.

I think both teams will protect their picks by not having them on the other ones main guy all night.....
