Idk when ball handling became this skill that’s almost impossible to improve I’d rather someone have a handle that needs some work than a broken jumper they talk like Jabari is some 6’4 guard that can’t dribble
Yeah no kidding. People who think all he does is spot up and defend are sorely mistaken and havent watched him play. Handle needs work sure but its not catastrophic like people pretend. Dude had zero space and atrocious guard play and could just shoot over everyone. I think everyone is gonna be surprised by him with NBA spacing
Other than the 2022 version of bobbythegreat (jiggly) are there other people stressing about Jabari's handles being a major concern?
Jabari is having arguments with Orbit at the Astros game while Chet is playing like Jordan. we are screwed.
I was mainly concerned with his finishing ability and very low 2 point FG% in general, but terrible spacing has a lot to do with that as well going from college spacing to NBA level spacing is like parting the red sea
Thunder know how to draft players. we should have known Chet was going to be good. Maybe Rockets should have traded up to and tricked Orlando and got Chet.
Jiggly was president of the club but there's a few others. I think after people watched more tape they see his handles werent as bad as advertised, so the group of Jabari handle haters is dropping
Wow I know this is summer league and too soon to get excited but he makes it look effortless. I wanted us to draft him but wasn’t sure if he could bulk up. That fall after the pass look scary for him as he is so lanky. Very good quickness for a guy that tall. I’m just worried if he gets injured. Looks very injury prone but who knows. If he could stay healthy and bulk up then watch out. I also thought bol bol had impressive skills for his size but who knows lol. The league will have some very bright stars in the future. Fun times.
