    First, what is this thread? Second, that's a difficult thing to measure because of all the variables and differences per each situation. Black people are definitely more likely to be pulled over than whites for the same infraction - that's proven statistically in many studies.

    About a quarter of people shot by the cops are black, which is about double the black share of the overall population—but it’s in line with many other benchmarks you might compare it to, such as the black share of arrestees, or cop-killers, or homicides. In other words, the overall racial breakdown of people shot by police isn’t surprising, given the demographics of crime.

    These traffic stop shootings are rare. Violent criminals are shot more routinely. Blacks have a 10 times murder rate

    The media has bought into trying to show racism and is distorting reality. I'm giving actual numbers

    You can't bias total numbers. Don't repeat that dumb ****

    Not quite, but good attempt!

    You are assuming police are catching this crime in the act and also its the criminals being shot, which would support your theory, but that isn't reality.

    I am sure that the increased crime rate does attribute to some increased violence against blacks, however there is just far too many anecdotal instances of brutalities against blacks not in the process of committing crimes, which is not in common with what we have seen with other races.

    Happens Every fricking day

    They more apt to give "their own" warnings while trying to search black vehicles and plant evidence

    Most police shootings aren't in traffic stops. I think we can all assume they happen in arresting violent criminals.
