I'm on day 12 or 13 and still not 100%. Basically.... throughout the entire thing... got every symptom there is at some point. But all mild and short-lived, I assume due to the vax. My taste/smell is still not 100%. My strength/cardio is still diminished. And my most recent symptom is a sore throat, ongoing for about 48hrs (mild). Do not be surprised if you get WORSE before you get better. The symptoms can turn on you quick and evolve into something that new that sucks.

I'm on day 18 now, and still have a cough. got back in the gym this week, and could definitely tell I'd been away. stamina and strength both diminished.

Covid brain drain for me was real. It took about 2 months to get back to my regular level of estupido.

I was at a BBQ yesterday and it's crazy how many stories I heard of of people with other health issues dying from Covid...everyone had one. This was a real seminal event for the world, regardless of deniers very vocal opinions. It was the Pear Harbor or 9/11 for Millennials & Zoomers.

Was your 2-months of brain fog from a bout with Covid, POST-vax or pre-vax?

I was vaccinated for a while before I got Covid. The sickness itself was very mild. I guess Gub’ment got me.

My dad had a huge rash develop over his body from his second shot. Took a while for it to go away with prescribed ointments.

I know someone else who had a lymph node swell up in her neck. It had to be surgically removed since it never went away after 6 months. The surgery didn't go well and she's still dealing with some health issues (surgery related) later.

Statistically, you're still better with the vaccine than the real thing.

On day 5 for me, days 1-3 were the worst. Never a fever though, but everything else. Now, just an inconsistent cough. Minimal congestion. Vaxxed and boosted, so I'm sure that helped too. I work from home predominantly unless I'm traveling, so all good on that front of not spreading it. Time to hunker down and finally get into Stranger Things. Wife has been wanting me to see it with her for a while now since she's done with all 4 seasons :).

What are the guidelines these days for resuming human contact btw? is it 10 days after symptoms start? Or is that outdated? Can I go places, but just mask up well? I'm feeling like 85-90% better.

Guidelines are that you should test negative, even if you feel 100% A-OK.

It's been a week since I originally tested positive. I've still got some cough and my energy is about 90% of what it was. Worried I'm going to be stuck in a lingering phase with this disease.
