Les successfully fooled the non pure Rockets fans .
He inherited the team drafted and built by Steve Patterson and owner Charlie Thomas.
That team won the championship. He never gave Steve credit for Horry, Cassell, OT, Kenny, Rudy T and resigning Dream

Then Tilman inherered Les's trash and had to rebuild from the ground up.... And some blame Tilman for it....

Now that Harden trade is genius because we have all their picks that are unprotected
They are going to suck big time. It’s like we got dealt all aces

All the short sighted people were crying over Harden leaving and Tilman "ruining" the team... Two years later Harden has destroyed one more franchise, is about to destroy another and The Rockets have potentially two of the best young stars plus tons of picks they can use or trade for a star to pair Green and Smith with....

imagine a small group circle jerking with each other all just to praise a loser. You would think a team wasn't just the worst team for 2 years straight after declining seasons since he became owner. Theres literally nothing to be proud of when it comes to him becoming the owner of this professional franchise.

All he has under his belt is some of the dumbest decisions made in history. ruining a perennial playoff team. LTS. and consecutive seasons of the having the worst record. losers praise other losers

It's good as Rockets fans that we are on a very good path to successful rebuild, but it is very weird to praise the man who has a huge impact on forcing us down this path. `Like if we won a ring or something sure i get the sentiment, but we have went no where yet.

The way these tilman stans are acting is quite premature.

We have yet to do anything and we already have folks praising tilman like he's the chosen one.

it's like praising the the dude that hands u the antidote after poisoning u.

the real test will be when he has the opportunity to improve the team that needs to get over the hump by bringing in the final piece or upgrading a known weakness with best available market player. If he balks at the luxury tax at that point then we have a loser. What ends up happening is one of our star players will again want out to go win a chip in a place that puts their money where their mouth is. I remember him lying he would get the right player using the tax if it presented itself. Well he did the opposite every step of the way so far.

Let me ask you a series of simple questions:
1.) Who complained about the cost of the one of best players in NBA history?
2.) Who let Trevor Ariza go from a 65 win team?
3.) Who refused to sign our replacement starting SF to a deal and sent him to the g league to avoid the tax hit, during a title run?
4.) Who used Melton to dump salary to avoid the tax?
5.) Who forced a franchising destroying trade on the Rockets?
6.) Who begged Westbrook to restructure his payment schedule so he could afford to pay him?
7.) Who decided to "get involved" on the D'Antoni extension only to make things worse?
8.) Who decided to use a first round pick to dump Green and Nene to avoid the luxury tax?
9.) Who put his dipshit son in a management position?
10.) Who decided to get rid of our cool team murals and put up an abortion in its place?
11.) Who bribed local writers to write puff pieces about him not being cheap?
12.) Who made his HOF coach quit?
13.) Who made his POBO quit?
14.) Who made his GM quit?
15.) Who made his HOF MVP demand a trade?
16.) Who tried to extend Victor Olidipo to avoid being bad?
17.) Who was one coin flip away from losing Jalen Green and instead having a non lottery pick?
18.) Who has the worst team in the league and starting next year will not have complete control of his picks?

How anyone could defend this dipshit is beyond me.

Maybe he got the message that he doesn't know anything about basketball and decided to back off, but the scent of his **** still stains the organization.

At the table of garbage owners, Tilman has a permanent place between Vivek and Dolan.

    Ehhhh.

Dolan and vivek have years of being sht owners. Tilman is not there yet since he's quite new he still has a chance of redemption by finally learning how to fk off on meddling but who knows. One thing for sure is the amount of praising and stanning for a man who literally done nothing but made us become a sht team is weird.

Agree with most of your post though, no mentioned of our training facilities for bonus points?

Harden also brought in Paul. It wasn't like Murray or Les engineered a grand scheme with decked out iPads to woo CP3.

I'm not sure if Harden was hard pushing for Brodie, but he did accept it.

Ferntits OTOH was blabbing all over media on how he was getting screwed over with the CP3 extension (pre trade btw...pure class), then later bragged post-trade how he had the drooping sack to Make Big Moves when front office "was hesitating."

So who really knows who was the decisive mover, but that last bit from bigmouth Tillman makes it sound like Harden didn't force CP3 to leave but went along with it.

And then you see Morey doing the same dumbass stuff he did here but over in Philly. I guess Tilman's son followed him over there too

100% agree. People have been unfairly hating on Tilman just like they were unfairly hating on Jim Crane when he became the owner of the Astros.

    Ok? And?

The Rockets weren’t good enough with CP3 and tried something else...

If Tilman start winning championships, none of his pass actions will matter.. if rockets become a dynasty it will for damn sure never matter.

Seems like the haters don't believe you can learn from mistakes. I don't believe it was all this fault but I knew he was tax sensitive in a few spots that may or may not have made a difference. He got the team in Hardens prime added talent but they melted down for many reasons several times. He didn't meltdown the players did. Coach made mistakes too. Morey made mistakes and I was a huge Morey supporter. I think Tilman is way smarter in business than he is it basketball but he loves Houston and the Rockets. Les loved being an owner and making money. Give Tilman time with the rebuild.
