Yesterday, I was confident we'd win even thou we were behind all game. But today was an unexpected gift.

 

0-2 and 1-3 are his favorite counts. Even better than 0-3.

 

Bummer. I think Seth deserve some recognition. This dude is like an elite reliever.

 

I was about to pop-in earlier and be like: of course Odorizzi comes back and ****s up the rhythm, but then the bats get us close enough and what a way to end it.

This is such a weird baseball team and I love it right now.

 

What were the Dodgers thinking giving up Yordon? What didn't they see? what did the Astros see?

 

Family was watching the game, and I literally turned to them when the count was 3-1and said, 'well, if he's going to throw him anything to hit, it's going to be right here..'

I guess Yordan thought the same thing!

 

Yuli is top 10 MLB in doubles... somehow.

 

Stanek does deserve to have a win to go along with the great season he is having. This is his first of the year. While most don't care about pitcher wins anymore, it certainly is good to have as non-closers rarely get All Star consideration. I hope he makes the roster, as he definitely deserves it.

Josh Fields had peripherals that suggested he should have been a stupidly dominant reliever, and Yordan was a slow, positionless player with meh batspeed who would need to hit a ton to justify playing.

So, I was like watching a Tiffany video for "I Saw Him Standing There" when I then flipped over to the game to see it was over.


Then, I saw him (Yordan) standing there with Julia being interviewed and I realized it was over with Yordan winning it. So, I rewound and watched the winning dinger. I then knew it was density...err...destiny!

Okay...the Tiffany part didn't happen. I just thought it was a cute moment. No...really. Come on! We all knew Tiffany had only two hit singles and this was one of them! And, the scene of dork from the "Ted" film dancing to the Tiffany video fit perfectly into my narrative. I don't actively listen to Tiffany. I DON'T!

 

I hear what you are saying but in Dusty’s case I do believe it happens quite frequently. I just don’t feel like combing thru every game to prove the point.

 

You know what I mean, this team and this season has been extremely bizarre compared to other teams during our 6 year run. I love it though.
