    I don’t understand why they don’t give Matijevic a few starts in a row to see if he can make more consistent contact. Dubon and Diaz are horrible from an ops perspective

    Dusty refuses to bunt .095 Castro w runners on 1/2, no outs, and Altuve behind him but will bunt .270 Myers in the same situation but Dubon and Lee/Diaz behind him.

    Head scratcher isn’t a strong enough description.

    Dubon at least makes solid contact and avoids the Ks, yesterday and today aside. Diaz may be DFAd depending on what moves we make in a month.

    I could see this. I still think Diaz is valuable and that his bat will come around. Its tough to get it going consistently on such spotty playing time. Don’t get me wrong, I do agree with you that its time he start producing.
