Kawhi won with Siakim and Vanvleet. They'd have a chance and if they won it wouldn't be Durants GSW wins where it seemed unfair

KD isn’t going to Toronto because kawhi already been there and won a ring.

KD wouldn’t be doing anything that hasn’t been done before.

No thanks. He won't shoot the ball and he will remain injured most of the time. His presence will be very bad especially considering what it will take to acquire him. We just got rid of Wall's contract. Why do you want to cause problems for us?

Scottie Barnes would solve a lot of problems for us. Ujiri probably won't trade him and even he does, he will probably go to the Nets. The Rockets must retain their 2023 pick swap with the Nets at all costs.

Barnes is pretty much the missing link for this team to become a GSW like contender in 3 years. You have your Steph (Green) your Klay (Jabari). You just need Draymond. Scottie would immediately become the defacto Point Forward (what Paolo would've been) but more movement based and not as iso heavy.

    I'd give up Gordon/A young asset/two 1sts for Barnes.

    Toronto receives Durant/Seth Curry/Gordon

    Rockets receive: Barnes/filler

    Nets receive: 2 1sts from Hou/1 1st from Tor/filler.

Toronto is not competing with their current core and gets 3-4 years of a title window. Nets get to rebuild. Rockets iron out their foundation, stay in the Wemby/Scoot sweepstakes and still have draft assets for the rest of the decade.

That asset could be JC to the Nets. Westbrook will spoil everything for the Nets, if the media discussed Kyrie/ Westbrook trade goes through.

It does sound too good to be true.

Westbrook, Lakers 2029 1st (top 6 protected), option to swap Bucks 2023 1st with Nets 2023 1st to Houston

Gordon, Nwaba, Marjanovic, Burke, Brown, Chriss, KJM, Lakers 2027 1st (top 6 protected) to Nets

    Irving to Lakers

YYYEEESSSS! Love it. Id even send KMJ and Nwaba to Toronto to help them compete. Honestly pretty fair for each team if OKC values 2023 high picks more than Chet.

    Sengun/Garuba
    Chet/Eason
    Smith/Tate
    Green/JayGup
    KPJ/Ty or Nix

and we still have Bucks pick and 2024 Nets pick.

Obviously not happening buuut the possibilities… DLO to be rerouted in this scenario. A lot of these picks are swaps going to Brooklyn but it was already way too complicated making this work.

    Barnes was ROY.

How likely is a trade of EGo for Barnes going to work?

Toronto is saying they won't include Scottie Barnes in a Durant trade....
so not likely (for Eric Gordon)

I didn't mention anything at all about EGo for Barnes. It's going to be very difficult to pry him out of Toronto. It probably won't happen at all. The Rockets mustn't offer their 2023 swap option with the Nets at any cost. It's too valuable.
