Wheeler missed two games and part of another.

    TyTy
    01/04/22:..@ LSU..2-9 ( .222 FG%)...1-6 ( .167 2P%)...4 Ast
    [ Wheeler left after 4 mins ]

    01/08/22:..vs Georgia...17 pts....17 Ast...8-13 ( .615 FG%)...8-12 ( .667 2P%)
[ Wheeler out entire game ]

    01/11/22:..@ Vanderbilt...15 pts.....4 Ast....6-11 ( .545 FG%).....5-9 ( .556 2P%)
[ Wheeler out entire game ]

    01/15/22:...vs Tennessee:..28 pts....5 Ast
    [ Wheeler returned:......21 pts.....8 Ast ]

    -------------------------------
So I'm not sure the one game means TyTy is amazing or was it just an anomaly.....
Corey Brewer once scored 50 points in an NBA game....once.

What the heck, "Best Point Guard On The Team:"
Porter / Christopher<<< Nix <<< TyTy <<< (let's convince Sahvir Wheeler to sign w/ Rockets)

    Pure. Point. Guard.

Shall we start a thread to define such a thing?

I will like to apologize to all the fans I diss because I thought Jalen Green was a bad pick last year. It turns out he's a stud. Now that they have Jabari Smith Jr, and a bunch of good young talent I'm so thrilled for this team now. They're going to be crazy good in 2 years.

Pure Point Guard requirement: Has to be obsessed with bowling.

    CP3
    TyTy Washington

And if you think about it, makes sense guys like that are obsessed with threading a ball into the perfect spot.

The name of the game in the NBA Draft is quantity. If we have 3 years of 3 to 4 first round picks, you develop all of them, keep the best, and trade what might not fit. Spurs did a good job of turning one late first round pick into 3 future late first round picks. You don't have to imagine all of them as career Rockets, you should just imagine them as assets that increase in value, ideally.

I could see TyTy maturing into something of a CP3 Westbrook hybrid. Much depends on his drive and development, but if he were on another squad, you'd be looking over the fence second guessing yourself for not drafting him. Keep the message simple: work out, practice, win games, make millions. Party when you have a reason to celebrate. Don't be a thug club.

Correct. He broke John Wall's record.

    Both very similar.

Both love those 16 to 19 foot long 2's and both can run the Pick-n-Roll.

I guess you could shoot hoops with a bowling ball but I’d be disinclined to.

Every player can't be a lotto pick. He was drafted where he was drafted. There have been alot of exceptional players drafted where he was draft. Nobody ever confused Cassell with Westbrook in terms of speed and explosion. For TyTy its going to be about creating space, changing speeds, and shooting. I wouldn't have drafted him because I'm tired of all the guards the team has, but its what it is.

Tyrese Maxey took 2 years until he became a Scoring Dynamo.

Some Point Guard take longer to develop

Tyty most likely will start out in the G League Vipers and the Rockets need to see if Tyty takes the game seriously in Fitness and Destroy Opponents by putting up 20 points 10 Assists on the Vipers.

I believe he will get stronger and quicker and put up Stats. Like Daishen Nix last year got his Fitness better, Became a Great Player in the G League.

If Titty ever develops into a bench quality player, I'll be happy.
