I don’t want to here about flipping players for picks.

we’ve been screwed by that before. Take the picks or wait till the deadline

Yes agreed, Thybulle would become our best defensive player and anchor to teach the young guys.

Many casual fans only look at development offensively, because it's easier to see. Points, assists, rebounds, etc But development for a rebuilding team goes both ways, both offensively and defensively.

We have a future offensive anchor in Green, we'll see what Jabari grows into, but we have no true defensive anchor right now. Any team that eventually grew to win a title developed both.

And the idea that we pass up an opportunity to get a young player like Thybulle because cheaper and better is just around the corner I disagree with.

24-year-old defensive anchors don't just grow on trees, here is a list of the top Defensive Box Plus-Minus players in the entire league last year, Thybulle was third right behind Jokic and Giannis.

If you had a chance to get 24-year-old Marcus Smart before he became DPOY you trade for him imo.

Yes, I would trade for a 24 year old Marcus Smart.

But this is a 24 year old Thybulle.

I’ve grown to love 19 year old Thybulle.

To each their own and it's okay to have different opinions, we can agree to disagree.

Here's 24 year old Marcus Smart vs 24 year old Thybulle. Matisse isn't a point guard but is taller and arguably better defensively than Marcus was at that age:

Just because one makes their own decision for what they inject in their own bodies does NOT make them an idiot.

I would totally take Thybulle, but I really don’t see how the money works without another team. The Sixers have a bunch of big and small money pieces, nothing like Gordon’s contract.

In fact it makes them smart.

Buying into what the government is selling the masses is, well not bright and I'm vaxed.

Of course I don't trust the government, so there's that.

Thybulle is a fine "82 game player" to raise your floor but he is not a "16 game player." With a future FRP, the hope is the Rockets draft (or trade for) a "16 game player."

Can we seriously keep this stuff out of the GARM? Haven't we had enough of this after two years? Any legitimate doctor or scientist vehemently supports the vaccines at this point, and I would prefer to keep this misinformation rhetoric out of my sports talk.

EDIT: At the end of the day, though, while being unvaxxed makes me question his intelligence, it doesn't make him a bad dude. As long as it doesn't affect his play or availability on the court, I wouldn't mind adding him if Stone thinks he's worth acquiring.

    Exactly.

The Rockets can always package picks as well.

Thybulle is going to be a free agent soon as well.

    Works for me.

If Smith averages 13/6 this season will fans be disappointed?
