Salaries don't match without more players going to the Nets.

That's cool of him to admit he **** the bed--or cage-liner, whatever--and now wants to head out. All in one elegant animated gif.

    WB and unprotected picks.

Meet your new Brooklyn big 3!

    Simmons, Ayton and Westbrick.

All that money for guys who can’t shoot outside the paint. LMFAO.

Lakers wasted all their picks to acquire AD. Those are the only picks they can offer.

if I’m the Nets and I can get some of the Lakers’ future picks, I’d just take Russ and call it a day…then maybe see if u can work out a buyout like we did with Wall…or just have him statpad for the year

I just don’t see how Kyrie’s value increases around the league

28% chance to get Victor I can't believe it, Rockets might become the next dynasty.

Nets are pathetic if they do that..for what benefit? A late 1st? One thing NBA history has proven. When the Lakers are in trouble, count on some franchise to bail them out and reward them. Somehow. Some way. Always.
If that's all you can get for Kyrie and no team is willing to give you their star or 2 + future in return in a KD deal, then i tell KD he's not going anywhere and i tell Kyrie he can finish out his contract playing or sitting at home, but he's going to honor it one of those 2 ways.
Nets got no draft picks, no route to rebuild and looking at a middling 35-38 win team even with the realistic KD return. At least if you can get Kyrie to ball out for 1 season and KD has no choice, the reward could be a championship. If Kyrie sits, how long will he hold out? Will he really sit at home for an entire season at the tail end of of his physical prime? - Probably most of the regular season but again, the reward is a playoff contender if KD could keep the team afloat and Harris is healthy and Ben plays stellar defense and brings playmaking.

He won't play without KD there (there is only a few players in the league that he respects) and if Nets don't trade KD, then no superstars in the league would want to play there going forward. I'm not sure KD would want another reason for the media talk-heads to criticize him by reverting on his public desire to be traded.

The rich (Lakers) are just getting richer...

    Agreed.
    They keep rewarding bad behavior
    And the Lakers keep benefitting.

If I were the Nets. I would force them
To find someone else to give me picks
I dont give a f*** about the Lakers future

    Three way trade where
I have to take westbrick but
They have to send someone to someone
And get me some more f***ing picks!!

Kyrie and KD don’t have the mental fortitude to come back and ball out after all that’s happened if not traded…especially Kyrie

they’re basically beefing with the FO and owner, and both have checked out and are ready to move on

the potential reward for the Nets is not a championship, it’s another season full of fckery

So I don’t see what’s so bad about accepting Russ and future picks for Kyrie. Is there some great offer just sitting out there for him? His value is close to zero because he’s crazy, has destroyed multiple teams, and will be a free agent in a year.

As for KD, I’m gonna need a young blue chip type player and a ton of picks.

I could see Brooklyn doing that for 2 unprotected firsts from LA.

The Lakers could actually be dangerous with Irving in place of Westbrook. I don't think that's championship-caliber, as they'll still only have two two-players, but Irving should grease their offense a bit even if their defense stays poor.
