Expiring contracts and draft capital, or GTFO. Thybulle has more of a "last piece for a contender" type of appeal. He does nothing given the trajectory of this roster.

Thybulle's defense alone is better than Tate's combined offense + defense, and he's two years younger than Tate.

If you have the chance you make this trade, he'll teach Eason, Jabari, and others how to be elite defensively on the NBA level, and he'll make KPJ and Green better offensively by having to go against him every day in practice.

Play hard ball with them Stone. Make them pay up for Gordon. I like that he is not settling.

If Thybulle is on the table we should take him. Nothing says he can't flip him later. We might be able to rehabilitate his value in a lower-pressure situation where the fan base does not live and with every win and loss. JL might be able to improve his shot.

There’s no other team that wants EG?

he’d be good on Dallas, Chicago, Denver…

Antivaxxer? No thanks. He's a great defender, but I don't want idiots on our team. Hold out for a pick.

    Bingo
Tony Allen was exact same type of player
Never really made his mark until the Grit n Grind Grizz squad that fit him like a glove
He was a major contributor to a very good team in Memphis
Thybulle could easily become Tony Allen level starter in the right spot

Tate’s ‘problem’ IMO is that a specific, narrowed, defined role inside a cohesive unit and he’d be Uber valuable.

    That ain’t what he’s had.

Morey is trying to assemble the 17/18 Rockets team. Next, he's going to target Capela and then CP3.

Someone tell me how this could go down without involving Tobias Harris. Obviously Embiid and Harden are off the table. After that, Harris' contract. After that, a precipitous drop to Melton who was just acquired.

    Who wants Harris, I wonder?

So do the rockets plan to let gordon expire instead of at least getting something back in thybulle or what? Same way they got dog water for wood and just decided to buyout wall after holding out for 2 years

^ this a million times. Stone made it clear what we want.

If Daryl low key want to show up on Tilman that he can win a 'ship with the 2017-18 rockets with bragging rights; he's free to do so with Tad Brown on his new team.

Stop dangling Matisse in front of us; we want FRP.

Would have to be another 4-for-1 deal like Wood to Dallas
Thybulle & Korkmaz plus 2 or 3 more fillers ... basically gut the end of their bench
Only way the salaries match up
