KMJ would be a great fit with the Hornets now that they are not going to keep Bridges. He is a poor (very poor) man's version of Bridges who would benefit a lot from Lamelo
Rockets need another Playmaker and Defender in their Starting Lineup and no one else is signing up to play with young team who has been at the bottom of the league the last 2yrs. And if they trade Gordon, they're going to need someone to eat up salary space, similar to Horford and OKC.
Or Tate? Sure let’s take on Hayward’s extra year and 2024 top 4 protected 1st, for Gordon, KJM, fillers. We ain’t gonna need 80M in cap space in 2024 and his expiring would be pretty good to throw in a trade package. Doubt Charlotte does it though, but man they really got dealt a blow for a team that seemed to finally be making some progress.
Yeah my thoughts exactly. I proposed a three team deal earlier with Gordon going to MIL and KMJ going to CHA.
A team can have 2 players with designated rookie contracts but in the case of Brooklyn, Simmons was acquired in a trade and a team cannot carry two designated rookies if both were acquired via trade.
Now that they're not going to pay Bridges do you think they're that eager to get rid of Hawyard? Unprotected first for a borderline play in team is super risky
Whoa….Charlotte just rescinded their qualifying offer to Miles Bridges…what he did to his wife was bad and sad. After Bridges get past his legal problems would anyone sign him.
Posted this in another thread. Toronto: Durant, Eric Gordon Houston: OG Nets: Scottie Barnes, Gary Trent, filler, picks from Toronto, and a partial release of future obligations to Rockets (such as giving back their 2024 pick).
Yea, that makes the list super small The only young legit all star guys that aren't on that list and didn't sign an extension this summer would be Jalen Brown and Brandon Ingram. They could also try a package around the rookies like Barnes or Mobley. Outside of that I would assume they'll have to accept not getting a young star or dump Ben Simmons in the same trade. Morey
Interesting trade that I'd consider hard. OG Is still growing into the player he will become. We would be building around Smith and Green here but whether now or later we will need a player like him. Eason could be that good or better, but we wouldn't be giving up a lot for OG in this trade at all. Interesting trade
lol what? Why wouldn't we save our cap space to sign a max player. Instead of tying it up on Ben Simmons.
Our focus should be Barnes. I dont know how but him and Green are buddies and he does a lot for us. Sengun/Garuba Smith Barnes/Eason Green/Christopher KPJ Is my dream.
Scottie Barnes, a bunch of picks, and a little relief from their future obligations to us is a huge package IMO.
