Exactly, they've got so many picks they can't use them all. They're going to eventually make some stupid offer of 8 or so picks just to get a deal done.
Oh I'm sure they will.... but 75 year old KD that has demanded a trade and his flat Earther buddy might bring picks, but not top tier talent. They have no incentive to rebuild, but no choice in the matter Gambling on Harden pulling a Harden and completely destroying that team was a brilliant decision.
I was talking about their own picks. Yes, a team like OKC who is hoarding picks can offer more. My overall point was that you can’t look at a trade like Harden’s where Dtone extracted everything he could from a specific team and say that he got fleeced because Minnesota gave up every pick they could for a lesser player.
The number of picks is really secondary. The quality of the picks makes a huge difference. The problem with the Harden trade is that we were never guarenteed a high quality pick or player in return. Still aren't.
Unfortunately yes. I'm a Houston Rockets fan who can't tolerate the Utah Jazz under any circumstances.
Ugh, there is a ton of speculation that the Durant trade may look something like Durant for Donovan Mitchell, with Durant going to a third team and the draft comp going to Utah. I would not be happy.

That’s interesting to me as well. I’ve never been a fan of Simmons as a Rocket, however, playing a point-forward role with this group seems like a perfect fit… IF he can play a full season. Which I don’t know if that is possible.
I want Simmons for our starting SF….trade Martin, Nwaba and Gordon for Simmons. Then the Nets can trade for Bam
