This guy's the worst GM in Minnesota since.. Gersson Rosas? David Kahn? Thibodeau? Kevin McHale? Actually maybe he's just keeping up with their DNA
Jazz will receive multiple first round picks in years to come, could be very fruitful. When have the timber wolves ever sustained success for a long period of time.
Zach Lowe: "I am in disbelief at the amount of draft picks the Minnesota Timberwolves traded for Rudy Gobert. Disbelief!"
They had a good thing going with Marbury and KG and since then despite being gifted all star after all star, 1st overall after 1st overall, nothing I think ownership is the issue
not sure what their GM was thinking Wolves better defy the odds and be a Conference Finals contender for years to come because damn
They really unloaded their entire chest on Gobert lol. What a laughably bad trade and one that likely just sunk whatever potential they had in the KAT-Ant era. Maybe the goal is just to be a playoff team for the next 5 years or so, maybe they've at least accomplished that.
This sht trade is what saves the Nets. Cause they gonna b demanding a kings ransom for kd disgruntle as he is using Rudy as the benchmark I forsee this sht trade blowing up on the wolves face so hard. Winning it all will validate it, but having two big men with 200+ mil contract will not bode well.
If they were protected picks then I'd say this would have been a win for the TWolves. KAT and Gobert is fine as KAT is a fantastic shooter and all around offensive big.
Because the Nets can get a better package than that. Plus the Nets want to be competitive for the near term.
Doubt it. Nothing is more valuable than owning Minnesota's picks. You do know we're talking about the Twolves right?
