They are currently championship contenders. They did better in their last Final's appearance against LeBron's Lakers than LeBron's Heat did against the Spurs in 2014. Of course they were better in those 4 years, but they have definitely recovered and they definitely do not regret not giving LeBron the control the Cavaliers and Lakers gave him.

    Understandable. It's not a real championship. :)

Employees making financial decisions for businesses that they aren't qualified to make.

I guess that is better than inmates running the asylum.

I disagree that they are real championship contenders and even then Lebron has won 2 chips since he left, and I would think the Cavaliers and Lakers are very happy with those championships.

How about owners making decisions they are not qualified to make?

I am part of management and have never referred to my employees as labor. Why would you not use the phrase employees instead of labor? I doubt any manager has ever written an email saying dear laborers.

Maybe the Heat dont regret not giving Lebron the control but bottomline is Cavs and Lakers have a ring thanks to Lebron and the Heat dont have a ring since they chased Lebron away.

I also dont see the Heat winning a ring in the forseeable future unless Giannis or KD go there so I'd say they would have been better off giving Lebron the control.

Well to be fair it is their franchise. If they mess it up its still their property.

Talking about LeBron in this topic is like talking about the smoker who smoked a pack a day and lived to 100 or the pothead who owns and runs a successful business.

It's your principal I don't have an issue with anybody using their leverage to get what they want.

If you çan make enough money to buy a team,, then you get to call the shots.

If owners were willing to take the hit (they're not) they could put a lot of this crap to bed.

I agree with the idea of the post, but come on let’s use better wording.

So its the principle of the thing you concerned about so why'd you bring Lebron in as an example then? I understand Lebron is the exception but then why'd you start talking about Miami and Cavs as examples where they got run into the dirt???

Talk about Jordan his Wizards and Bobcats run is nothing short of hilarious.
