So is your position that anytime Russia threatens nukes, the west should back down?

Why doesn't Russia just come out and say that, if these two countries join NATO, then they will nuke them?

They like to play the nuke card. It's been played so many times that it falls on deaf ears. Yes, we know you can blow us up. We can blow you up also. Apparently, Russia is such a sh!thole that the elite feel like living underground for whatever time they will have left (6 months) while topside is unlivable (after a nuke war) is a better option than living topside like they do now. lol

Please threaten us with nukes some more. It's so scary.

That is Russia's thinking....we should ignore it and do whatever is right.

Or brush it off.....yeah yeah, we heard Putin, we have Nukes too, it doesn't do anyone any good to use those - and everyone knows it.....and then move on.

I wouldn't say Putin is backing down.... there's just not much he can do aside from cyber attacks and testing responses by flying into NATO territory.

While I think Putin was unfortunately right about EU/Western European economic unity, he was wrong about NATO.

All I know is I hope the reports of him being terminally ill are not true for a reason,,

[IMG]Imagine you are Putin, all your life you known power and control … you may have more money than anyone and material items but if he was terminally ill…think about this , he has no emotional connections to people, no family, no children. He certainly has not reprogrammed his subconscious mind for love. He is irredeemable to anyone, he has nothing and frankly that thought scares me…and it should the rest of us because someone on his way out knowing he is on the way out with those qualities is capable on anything in his last moments

I don't believe the people will act when they know he is dying - similarly to how Trump cabinet people tried to manage his craziness.

Dam.....another ex Putin ally "falls" to his death. I love how they phrase the word "strange" as in, wink, wink we know the real reason but cant say it out loud

His death comes less than two weeks after an executive appointed to help oversee development in Russia’s Far East died in a strange fall from a moving boat just days after attending an economic forum with Putin. Theirs are just the latest in a string of odd deaths among officials and executives in Russia’s energy and technology
