    Somewhere in this thread, I said that the most important thing we got from the BKN trade was the right to suck. That has no turned into Jalen Green and Jabari Smith. Yeah, I'm chilling.

    Who'd be your ideal "expensive player going back to New Jersey" as a fair return that tanks their franchise further? They already got one in Ben Simmons. Ayton? Rudy? De'Angelo again?

    KD, contract year Kyrie, regular season Simmons + Harris/Curry/O’Neale/Claxton.

    Tari Eason might be the best asset the Rockets get back in a trade for an MVP.

    We own their 2026 pick and 2027 pick swap. KD might be retired by then. I think we will get something better.

    The guys who the Rockets could theoretically draft in 26 and 27 are 15 and 14 years old right now.

    Also - last year was a contract year for Kyrie. And he voluntarily skipped half the season.

    Dude could have let this thread fade into bolivian when it seemed to be going south.

    But no, he's gonna die on this hill, I can respect that. I disagree completely with it's premise, but I respect the dedication to a stance.
