Kyrie really just drove Harden and his BFF KD out of Brooklyn and left a path of destruction with yet another franchise Trojan Horse Kyrie just set the Rockets up for the future
"Water is wet per sources " - Brian Windhorst Miami ain't getting in on any KD action because they have little to no picks and a package headlined by Herro is *yawn*
Brooklyn dynasty in shambles. its crazy how fast it crumbled. Feels like Stone has turned around Rockets Luck. Maybe Morey, Harden and CP3 were the unlucky ones.
Nets fans are imploding right now, and I am deriving an unusual amount of pleasure from it…especially after they kept telling us how much they “won” the Harden trade by
KD doesn't actually have any leverage here right? He doesn't have a No Trade Clause? I guess he can say he's going to sit out if he doesn't get dealt where he wants to go but that'd almost certainly be a bluff Portland can put together a super competitive package. Anfernee Simons, Shaedon Sharpe, 25, 27, and 29 firsts, and a swap in '28 (we have their picks for '24 and '26 so a swap would be useless for Brooklyn). Phoenix can offer Bridges plus they have all their firsts. Could do '23, '25, '27, and '29 first rounders. Or if Brooklyn wants to account for their lost draft picks, they get '24, '26', and '28 and swaps in the other years. I'd feel like the Portland picks would be worth more though because they wouldn't have a young core and Phoenix still has Booker. An Ayton sign and trade could be part of this too, but Ayton has to agree to go to Brooklyn
When he was talking about leading the franchise into the future he really meant the rockets The real MVP
It would most likely have to include Ayton because the other high ticket player on that roster is Bridges and I don't know if you trade Bridges for KD. Cam Johnson, Crowder, Saric, etc should all be on the table. Bridges is too valuable to that team on both ends AND he is durable.
KD for the low, low price of Bridges & Ayton? KD for the low, low, low price of Herro? KD for the low, low price of …?
Ayton & Bridges would actually be a really good return for the Nets if they could get that, Ayton being a BYC contract will make it difficult and would require a 3rd team I believe
