They could run out: Harden Thybulle Tucker Martin Embiid 6man Gordon Then have 15 to 20 million for a free agent in a year... i think it depends on what you think of Martin as to whether that's better or not..

An Eric Gordon to Philly trade would not have to involve Harris but it would involve a large number of small contracts We know Morey isn't scared of these types of deals. I think Rockets can only have 20 players on contract, I believe we have around 18 right now so we might need to execute waiving some of the Mavs players prior.
I feel like the most likely scenario of EG to Philly is where Tobias is headed to a third team. Third team could also get KJ and Thybulle to take on Tobias's contract while we get a future pick from Philly. Would have to be someone that actively kind of wants Tobias despite the contract though. Heard the Jazz were in talks. I don't see us taking on Tobias at all, Stone has held strong on not taking bad contracts to give us flexibility. We'd need a lot of picks or a great young talent to take on a bad contract. And they aren't trading Maxey
one could interpret this in a few different ways, but in case what was intended is a suggestion that the two players are of comparable importance to their teams, no way. philly FO loves maxey and with good reason. he's going to make a bunch of all star teams and he's on a super affordable deal.
Find a way (including 3rd team) to trade EG to 76ers for Springer. He fits our timeline and our culture reset of hardworking, grinding, defenders. Dude is a dog on the court!
I understand the flexibility issue on not taking bad contracts. I'm just no optimistic there's a free agent in a year who doesn't become a bad contract... I'm not paying Wiggins for example....
My guess is any EG to Philly trades are on hold until Morey gets a definitive NO on his KD trade proposals.
