I sure hope he's not expected to sit on the perimeter and wait for a pass from yao, because it will be a long season. Scorers score in an OFFENSE.

He was not brought here to be Piatkowski he was brought in to bring the ball into Yao and also create and score in an JVG scheme that doesn't have much offense. He is going to bring the double team as well as yao and leave everyone open for shots to hit.

Yep and our offense is dump it in to Yao and have T-mac either drive or come off a screen for an open J...thats a couple of the many things they will be able to do.

I dont look for 28 or 30 but 24-26 sounds good if Yao can get up to 18-21

steve never seemed comfortable shooting off the yao screen. i know he hit a couple buzzer beaters from deep but he couldn't hit the consistant 17 footer of the yao pick. Mcgrady will be able to elevate,(not that steve couldn't, but t-mac is taller) off the screen and will be knockin them down like crazy. the only thing that worries me is Mcgrady's back.

Steve was never a good spot up shooter, he likes to create his shots thats what the problem was.

McGrady will love to have those open looks after screens and will take advantage of it. How many times did we steve just take a screen and not do anything with it or miss an open jumper.

That's where we are going to see the most improvment from last year. McGrady coming off of a Yao Screen and scoring.

Howver it is distributed, I would expect as many sub-80 point games as last season.

highly unlikely, it would be foolish of JVG to waste T-macs talents like that. The francis issue was different, he was a PG.
