This is just not true for the vast majority of the season lol. Maybe post ASB he had slightly more but was never the primary ball handler/initiator of the offense all year.

Did I say he was the primary ball handler?

I said he had control of the ball and got touches on offense 80% of the time when he was in the game.

Once he got the ball he had the green light to do whatever he wanted.

I mean he's picked 3rd. Unless it's a LeBron draft the guy you picked better have the chance to be the best of his class.

There is definitely that chance. Imagine Middleton or MPJ with elite defense. That is a top 10-20ish player in the NBA. Whether he gets there we shall see. But obviously there is the upside

The perfect blend of Ryan and PJ that James always wanted to play with.

80% of the time? Link, please.

I'd also love to see the breakdown of his last month or two of the season.

80% of the time is just not accurate man c'mon. He would go minutes just running up and down and standing in the corner, we all complained about it on here. He was not close to the top in touches per game most of the year.

    There is no link.

Do you actually think when he was in the game he did not touch the ball over 20% of the time?

When I say control of the ball I meant had the ball in his hands and was not just to relieve pressure and pass to somebody else.

I never said he was the primary ballhandler/initiator.
