If you told me we'd split with the Yanks in NYC, I wouldn't be excited, but not angry either.

If you told me the two losses would be walk-offs after leading all game, I'd start asking questions.

I still think the hot team in September is going to knock off the Yankees before we see them.

people only remember the most recent events

so losing in a walk off manner is pretty bad.

James Click has to feel pretty good about this squad. A nice barometer series. Hopefully he can add something at the deadline.

Just get used to him. He's here as long as he wants and he knows it.

Well that blows... should have swept the bastards. Oh well, strong performance despite the bullpen collapses.

    Thanks for the laugh

Astros split and made history. Same way Mike Scott, Ryan, and "combined" did

Shiiiit.... Stros made history with consecutive hitless innings vs Yanks too

    Great series

The intentional walk that Dusty did do was the dumbest decision. Now they absolutely had to have a double play to avoid facing Judge in the inning.

    This was a Dusty game

The reason he hasn't won a championship in 30 years. He messes up on the biggest stages.

I definitely get frustrated with him, but that is too far. He is more like all-star level manager, and we often wish he was an MVP level manager.

It's ok to do what he did but you have 2 outs with a base open with Judge at the plate...walk him.

yeah we're stuck with him, just have to out-play his managerial ineptitude.

Could have walked him too... the IBB didn't cost us the game. Just poor decision making letting Judge beat you.

I think so little of him but we can agree to disagree. He's worthless. This team won't win again with him (like none of his teams have)

Split when it should have been a sweep. Starters were unbelievably dominant 5 ER in 27 IP and we let fuxking Judge be the hero in both losses.

    Disaster? No....

The two losses were frustrating as hell.

A disaster would have been going in there and getting run out of the stadium. We didn't do that, not even close. I'm annoyed as anyone the way we blew the two losses, just go back to Thursday and check out my posts about Pressly, but let this b**** ass team have their lucky wins in June. We've seen this story before. That luck is gonna run out eventually.

Sucks to lose, but today's loss doesn't hurt nearly as much as the loss in the first game last Thursday. Overall I'm more happy than sad with how this 4-game series went.

These Yankees are a good team and will very likely win the AL East by a decent margin, but they're not "1998 Yankees" good. They're not as good as their 53-20 record and I think they'll come back to earth a bit as the season goes along.

Looking forward to the Astros breaking the Yanks hearts again in the ALCS, should they meet.
