Per Zach Lowe on his latest podcast - “I can tell you this. Teams are already operating under, not the assumption, but ‘we need to prepare for the contingency’ that Kevin Durant is available via trade in 6-7 days.” https://open.spotify.com/episode/5S...i=wrFgq29cTzm_C2_G0mu1sg&utm_source=copy-link
KD and Dame? Will they have Draymond and Klay and a top team defense? If KD wants to up his legacy and win more rings, dude needs to understand he can be the driving force offensively and more important for him to join a more defensive minded team. He doesn't need to join an offense only star. Phoenix window is closing quickly. Who knows how they'll do once CP is done. I think his best bet is Miami.
There are people like Kyrie all over the world. We all know them. You might be one of them. They ain't difficult to understand. You don't need them as much as they need you. Durant, for lack of a better word, idolizes Kyrie so he seems deep. What he really is is a pothead, even if he actually doesn't smoke as he claims, he's still a pothead.
Lost in all this is the fact that this team would have been dookie if it weren't for the Harden trade. They were hovering around .500 before trading for Harden back in 2020/2021. Trading Harden last year was the right thing to do considering how much he's declined but imagine if they never traded for Harden. That 7-11 team would have been on the list for most disappointing team ups in NBA history
