I think Jabari smith is a perfect pick for the rockets! Especially for Jalen Green.

What other move was there? Ivey? Throw away assets to trade up for Paolo? No thanks

Jabari will kill it in Houston and is exactly what we need

He was the player left at #3 so yes. I'm not as high on Ivey as I was Paolo, Chet, and Jabari.

I really liked what the Rockets did, but I do find Jabari and Eason more complementary then oozing with potential/star power. I think the Rockets really did take the BPA in their draft, it just happens the BPA are very complimentary.

Considering he was the only one left of the "big three" prospects, obviously it was the right move. Beyond that, I thought Smith was the best prospect of the three. It's speculative, because if he never develops a better handle, his offense may end up just a diet of spot-up shooting and alley-oops. But I like his chance of developing that handle more than I like the chance of Banchero (and his T-Rex arms) becoming an impact defender. Banchero is a safer offensive prospect, but I think Smith is both the safest overall prospect (since he projects to bring value on both ends of the court) and the highest upside prospect.
