It’s going to be nice to have a 7 footer in the starting lineup.

    Jabari is a perfectionist.

Youngest of the top 3 but might be the most serious, most mature, ultra focused.

No knock on Paolo, he could easily be a future all star, but there’s a reason Orlando has had a losing record 9 out of 10 years. Passing on guys like Jabari and Chet.

    Jabari Smith vs Alabama 2.1.22 | 17 pts (5-10 FG, 1-2 3pt, 6-9 FT), 5 Reb, 1 Stl, 1 Blk, 1 TO - YouTube

Probably one of his better showcase games in regards to his diversity on the offensive ends.

He is nasty. If you get switched up as a guard, you are going to get shot over.

If you put your big on him, he can cross you over on the perimeter and take you to the rim.

He is only 18 years old playing against 22 year olds. He is a refined tight handle away from being a super star level prospect.

He has the highest ceiling and floor in this draft.

Man the more I see of Jabari the happier I get with the pick. Amazing attitude, that shot is so pure. He reminds me of Ray Allen, it's identical every single time. He shoots so consistently he looks like a video game animation. The shot alone makes him worth the pick, add in the attitude, the drive and the defense and we've really got the number 2 guaranteed guy in our core alongside Jalen. If any one of Sengun, KPJ, Christopher, KJM, Garuba, Eason, or TyTy breaks out, that's a team.

He was also the only freshman starter.

And a definite leader on that Auburn team.

Jaren Jackson Jr, is no where near the shooter that Jabari is. Not even close. He is being criminally underrated on Clutchfans right now.

JJJ was lights out as a shooter from 3 in the playoffs and was an elite shotblocker

    He shot 31% this year.

I would guess Jabari Smith never shoots that low.

Still hard to believe he fell.

There's something to be said for children of former NBA players. Is it any coincidence Klay and Steph are two of the best shooters ever? Obviously it doesn't work for everyone.

Is it just me or anyone else quietly hoping we just drafted Kevin Durant?
