    i've been a rockets fan since 1972, and i dont recall a move that put the rockets into a better position to contend for a championship. this has just now put us in the same league as the other 2 texas teams. And if Shaq comes to dallas, it will create a 3 team texas rivalry like we have never seen before. May not be a bad year to have season tickets ! Can anyone suggest an 8 or 9 man rotation, assuming derek fisher comes aboard?

    Yao-AD
    Howard-AD
    JJ-Boki
    TMAC-Ollie
    Fisher-Lue

    AD= Antonio Davis

    I am hoping we move Mo T for him

    I think this will be a pretty good team. But its gonna take some more tinkering to win a championship. But I think in 2 years, with Yao at his prime, Spoons contract ending, we will be favorites to win it all! Also, ADs contract will end then too so we can fill the other holes then

    Talk about reworking a team.

    Please correct me, but I think MoT is the only player left from only three years ago. No question the luck of the draw got us Yao. But SF and Cat weren't going to lead us to the elite level and didn't really complement Yao.

    It's going to be fun, fun, fun.

    Hats off to CD and Les for having the guts and savvy to pull this one off.

    Along with the Drexler deal, one of the greatest trades in Rocket's history. After years of horrible draft decisions, ridiculous contracts, and a variety of other unbelievably stupid personnel moves, today, Rocket's management atoned for past transgressions.

    yes the drexler deal did bring championship wine but as far as potential goes, this one has more, because i dont believe glide at that stage of his career, was the player that tmac is. This guy is 25, 2 yrs. younger than francis, he is going to be in his prime for at least 5 more yrs. if he remains healthy. When glide came aboard he only had a few yrs. left. All you had to do was look at his head to see that he was only a couple years away from a career in bbq. no offense glide, you rule!!
