    Agreed.

I also think that the fact that the two best players may very well be the two hardest workers on the team (maybe JC, Eason could argue that) will help build the right blend of having fun, being professional, working hard and eventually winning

That makes sense. Perhaps he's referring to Wood. Dallas will suffer when he eventually throws a big fit! Cuban will realize his mistake sooner or later. Lol!

Last season, teams could switch and sag, creating all kinds of traffic for Green and KPJ on drives. But now with Smith at the 4-spot, it's really not possible to zone up the Rockets.

I just saw Jabari’s awesome interview on YouTube. I missed it earlier. He's enthusiastic about joining the Rockets. I loved the positive energy from him. Hard work can help him become a star in a few years.

I see why the magic took Banchero. He's the better player. Jabari Smith is limited, he's basically a spot up shooter and he can't dribble that well. Somebody put him in the same sentence with durant, please don't do that.

I remain ecstatic about the fit, the shooting and the defense, especially combined with Eason who i think is a steal.

I ALSO remain somewhat bummed that his offense game while he excels at the ONE thing to excel at in today's nba, is so limited.

    So questions:

    (1) Has anyone seen anything more recently from Jabari to show that he's been working on his handle, is actually better at it than it seemed just cause of how college teams can operate, not have enough space, etc.

    (2) Can anyone provide really strong examples of someone like Jabari REALLY improving their handle? I've seen Kawhi, or OG - idk, i feel like both dudes were better at handle in college and had more "wing/guard" skills.

Don't get me wrong, you definitely see the OCCASIONAL nasty dribble drive from Jabari. But there's a lot of LOOSE handles, lack of dribble drive fluidity, or "ok"ish finishes.

Its a huge plus to me how young and hardworking the kid is. He ABSOLUTELY is the type of player in his prime that will be EXTREMELY useful to a DEEP DEEP playoff team. So no complaining.

However, we probably still need a 1b to Jalen's 1a. Next year i guess.

Im expecting Jabari to win a few 3pt shooting contests during all star break.

Uh? when has a LMA team ever been a championship contender?

The comp is not great at all because he has much more range and will be much better defensively.

Off the top of my head

Paul George is a pretty good example?

    From draftexpress article in 2010
"Obviously, his ball-handling ability will be something that he needs to refine in order to reach his potential as a player" Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/paul-george-5688/ ©DraftExpress

You'd argue Paul George has more than decent handles.
A lot of what I see in Jabari makes me think of George or Tatum.

I also recall DeRozan being a very ordinary dribbler early in his career.

Let's see with Smith. He looks a bit awkward, but dribbling is 100% repetition, he can learn a couple moves.
HIGHLY interested in Dream tutoring him on that turnaround he has in his bag. Give him a 2nd way out of it or something.

For all the talk of "he can't create his own shot" lets remember he scored 17ppg in college - so he gets the ball in the hoop somehow.

All questions I have and I would like to see ONE nasty dribble drive from him.
