Ty Ty looks real good on tape - could be a low key sneaky move. I bet he could score in bunches- and throw beautiful lobs.
i'm not so sold on jabari. soft inside rebounding and finishing in the paint. no handles. not really a rim protector. convince me bro...
Variations of Jalen/Jaylen/etc has got to be the most common NBA first name now. All these 90s and early 00s babies given that name. Might get a little confusing over the years lol but there will be only one Jalen referred to by first name only... Spoiler
Hardy will be a dynamic scorer, but we have Green, KPJ and JC in the back court. Not enough touches for Hardy here. I admit I'm pissed that he fell to the Mavs at 37.
I believe Jabari is a role player too, but he has upside. He is kinda soft. I hope he will play with a chip on his shoulder like Jalen Green.
I'm delighted with our draft. Only item missing off my wish list: Walker Kessler. I had dreams of him and Boban protecting the rim... Maybe we can trade to upgrade our rim protection now-- we certainly have some expendable assets after last night! I don't think all of Wall, Gordon, KPJ, KJM, Tate, Queen, Lamb will be here past the next trade deadline. Schroder's already gone, right? 1 TyTy, Nix 2 JG, JC, Matthews 3 Smith, Eason, Nwaba 4 Sengun, Fernando, Garuba 5 [still NEED], Boban If we trade for a high quality C, we are competing. If we get a defensive coach (JVG), we are competing for a championship for the next decade+. If we do neither, we are one more year of tanking for VW.
Everything about the Rockets draft last night was wrong. The Rockets should not have gotten Jabari Smith. The main reason I wanted Sochan is because I felt we had absolutely no chance at getting Jabari. Tari Eason should not have made it out of the lottery. Wrong, wrong, wrong. But it all felt so so right. Let's go Rockets!
