I think Orlando really screwed him over. Either they had an extremely late change of heart, or they gassed him up and told him he was going 1 when they never were gonna take him. I'm guessing they were hoping to trade down and still get their guy at 3, but also kinda BS.
A great comment and I couldn't agree more. Hakeem is going to love Jabari. Heck, he'll love Tari, as well. Fertitta should open his wallet and raise whatever Dream gets paid for working with our guys. We have enough top talent now to keep him as busy as he wants to be, and I'm hoping he'll want to work with Jabari and Tari, and continue with Alpi. Damn, that's a mouthful!
Maybe the rumor about Houston wanted to trade up to get Banchero scared them from trading down. What Stone really wanted was Smith all along.
Btw I just wanted to point out one thing about Jabari that struck me. In his interview the girl asked him since he has a chip on his shoulder is he gonna target ROY just like jalen Green last year? Jabari said it's in his radar but he wants to make the playoffs, he ain't about the stats he is about the winning. That's the type of guy we need an unselfish star with a winning mindset. I think we need to say good bye to Wemby I fully expect Rox to make a playin run next year.
