Yep, and this is far from over. There will be more women coming out and accusing Watson as soon as these cases get settled. Has the NFL ever let a guy play with this many women accusing him hanging over his head?
I fail to understand how there can be a NEGOTIATION on his punishment?? If the league decides he needs to be suspended for 16 games, then all the NFLPA can do is appeal that on Deshaun's behalf, correct?? Ultimately it's up to the league to decide how long they want to punish Deshaun for....now we're letting him decide how long he needs to sit in the corner and think about what he did??
I'm guessing this is in lieu of an appeal, which would drag this out further which is in neither the NFL, NFLPA, or Watson's best interest. So, it makes sense for them to agree to a punishment behind closed doors rather than fighting it out in public over several months.
Lol--NFL is probably looking at least a full-season and NFLPA/Watson probably want 2-4 games. Ask for 1.5 seasons NFL and then agree to 1, c'mon Goodell git'r done.

PFN's Aaron Wilson reports that "there is concern from the NFL Players Association" that the league will look to suspend Deshaun Watson for "the entire 2022 season, if not indefinitely."
An indefinite suspension would just be too perfect. I definitely won't set my expectations that high, that would be begging for disappointment. But I'm hoping for a year (which even that leaves room for disappointment). Hopefully Goodell and Co. haven't gone soft and dont ask for 12 and reduce down to 8 or something.

I don’t get why people can’t grasp this and just wanna make it rich white vs rich black. One is a creepy old guy paying for sex. The other is a creepy young guy preying on victims against their will with and without using money..
All I want out f all of this is a high 1st round pick. But as far as no money being exchanged by the creepy young guy. I'm pretty sure money was exchanged. No one is gonna massage your taint for free unless there is mad booze or you just hooked up with a straight freak. Oh and if he didn't pay them then, he sure as hell paid em last week..
