As an Asian, I feel obligated to say this. We should draft Hyun Jung Lee with our 17th pick. I have watched his highlights in case y'all haven't. He is legit. A prolific free-throw scorer as well. I see him being the next Jeremy Lin. What do y'all think?
As an Asian, I'd say this dude is a 2nd round pick - priority UDFA. Spending #17 on him would be a massive reach. Great 3 pt shooter. Has a little high post/midrange game. Prolific free throw scorer is a stretch, but he's willing to slash. Unlike Lin, who was actually athletic, Lee is going to be at a defensive disadvantage in most of his matchups. Didn't look particularly good at the G-League combine either. His ceiling looks similar to Duncan Robinson, who is struggling to find playoff minutes because he also can't defend anyone. Lee might be a little more athletic than Duncan though.
As an asian having more representation in the NBA is never a bad thing. But lets b realistic, to have the best enjoyment of rooting for the Rockets, u draft BPA. I don't think he is BPA especially at the spot u suggest we draft him at.
Please define BPA. If you meant GPA, I believe there is no doubt this man has one of the highest GPAs in Davidson history.
Just watch... he is the next face of the league. If we don't draft him, I still believe we will sign him one day. We have a legacy of having undrafted players on our starting lineup...
First it was Brady Manek that op wanted with the lottery pick, now it's Hyun Jung Lee. quite a fascination with guys who won't get drafted
