    Green/Christopher/Eason/Jabari/Garuba

    Will be amazing in stretches defensively, quickness, athleticism, deflections, steals, transition nightmare for opponents...

    The Rockets selecting Tall Slender Forwards
    6'10 Jabari Smith and 6'8 Tari Eason

    I am in shock compared to years of PJ Tucker, Eric Gordon, JaeSean Tate all 6'4 Guards playing Small Forward for Years

    This literally is a Dream come True. Huge Relief

    What you can play is determined by your ability to defend that position. He can definitely guard the 3. He can shoot, and scoring isn't exactly a weakness of Smith's...

    Coach Lucas will help him out. Tari's used to coning off the bench. Once his jumper becomes reliable, watch out!

    If you look at the drastic improvement across the board in shooting from freshman year to sophomore, it looks pretty clear to me that he is able to improve. The improvements are in things like FT%, where he went from like 57% to 80%, so it seems like it isn't just a case of better fit at LSU - he pretty clearly was much more skilled as a sophomore than a freshman.

    He's 24, and he was never the most gifted player ever. The only reason he is in the NBA at all is because his game is completely optimized to his talent level already.

    You're right, he improved noticeably in that area. I question his effort and motor, the guys mentioned in my post don't have those issues.

    he should have been starting at LSU easily. They just are loyal to darious days to a fault despite eason clearly being the better option
