I’m too shocked to know how to feel… EXCEPT I can say this with certainty. He’s an easier clear “fit” and hey he plays A+ defense. I’d be shocked if he developed enough of a handle to comp the upside some people think he is … but there’s a chance. part of the reason I was ok with/liked Paolo was because I’d thought he’d produce but it would t be the best fit immediately and the defense needed work so year 1 wouldn’t be much improvement which helps them with 2023 draft position. If the Rockets go all defense type guys that can shoot this draft…. They cold actually be better than expected.
He's pissed he didn't go no. 1, not that he's going to the rockets... and u better believe he will want to prove he deserved no. 1
Legendary shooter, good defense, no handles at all, can't finish at all. So jumpers all day everyday, good enough to take contested jumpers like Klay every play.
I think dropping is going to make him really pissed off and create another level for him. I'm psyched.
Just needs to work on his dribbling- this will allow him to pump fake his 3pt shot and drive with reckless abandon to the basket-
This was literally a no lose situation. Guys no matter what else happens tonight the Rockets just got a lot better.
Perkins said he's a Gen Z Shareef Abdur-Rahim with D. Shareef was dope AF when he was with Vancouver.
That’s actually typical of Orlando and I’m not surprised at all. I had been saying since they won the lottery that it wouldn’t shock me if they take Paolo because outside of 1992 when they took Shaq they have always done the unexpected with the #1 pick. They drafted C-Webb and traded him for Penny and drafted Dwight when Emeka Okafor was most people’s consensus #1 pick
Jabari looks like a serious T Mac there. Joke aside I'm super stoked to have him. Makes the 17 and 26 picks more exciting.
