Not what I want but… I believe OKC trades for #1 & takes Banchero then ORL takes Smith #2 PLUS 2 LAL picks that OKC gets for taking back Westbrook. (OKC does the league a solid and will be rewarded with HIGHER picks they already have because the LAL then sign Kyrie Irving) We get spooked by Holmgren slipping and take Ivey. Chet’s less than 200# frame & no work out => Stone makes a logical choice. 3- Ivey 17-BPA (however falls because of the BIG TRADE the draft is completely thrown off - with Chet’s falling we should get a better player) 26- Kessler / Jaylin Williams (fit)
Come on everyone. Let us warmly welcome Jeremy Sochan and Tari Eason to Houston!!!! Let's gooooooo!!!!! Make it soooooo!!!!
My prediction: we take Paulo and then trade up to take his teammate, AJ Griffin (or another SF) If we stand pat… #3 Paulo #17 Eason or Jalen W #26 Tyty or Beauchamp
I don’t believe we will be drafting 3 picks since we have too many rookies and young roster. We just picked up 3 rookies last year and I think one pick will be used to move up the draft.
Not playing by the rules of the theead here, just some random musings I didn't see another place for... There was a 'brain doctor" known around some NBA circles, I forgot his name, but Danny Ainge was a believer and considered his input when drafting players. The guy wound "braintype" players based on 16 personality types and use that information to project the NBA careers of prospects. Haven't heard anything about the guy in maybe 15 years, but I got into the habit of "braintyping" players based on the past evaluations this guy would publish. There was one "braintype" that was shared by some of the greatest players ever, players like Hakeem, Shaq, Jordan, Stockton, Bird, and others. Some tell-tale signs of this type are seen in the footwork and hands of a player and also a singular focus on the court. All those dudes had great feet and hands and were known as clutch or at least didn't choke. Examples of players today that are similar to them and likely share their "braintype" are Jokic, Kawhi, and Jimmy Butler. The player that I think shares that braintype is Holmgren. I think Smith and Banchero share the braintype of past greats like Duncan and Kobe and current players like Tatum. They turn out to be similar to the other players in that they are introverts and reserved, but they don't possess the natural hand and feet control or natural lazer focus.
3. Banchero 17. best center Jalen Duren/ Mark Williams 26. best wing Beauchamp / Jalen Williams Trade up lottery targets: Dyson Daniels or Sochan after 1 is gone Cash pick/ gleague stash targets: Michael Foster, Jaden Hardy, EJ Liddell, Jaylin Williams EuroStash targets: Jovic
I'm saying... Paolo at 3... We move Ego to Philly for #23 & combo that with #26 to move up - and land Eason.... and we trade #17 for a draft pick next year...
What I think: Paolo Eason What I wish (Jabari gone): Paolo M Williams Eason In a dream world: Jabari Murray
#3- Paolo #17- trade a player(Martin) and the 17th pick for the 13th pick for Eason #26- Jovic Jovic is a solid player
