    Yeah what a burn Presti...now we get to take Chet who has the highest upside of any player in the draft arguably. You really showed us!!!

    Which is why Presti almost surely isn't going to take a lesser player just to screw with the Rockets. In the end he's got alot on the line with this pick, and he's going to take who he thinks is the best player.

    Rockets fans just need to sit back and realize that whether it's Chet, Jabari, or Paolo.... THE ROCKETS WIN at least in the short term. All three of these guys fit into what we are doing even if they are slightly different. None of them take away anything from Jalen Green, Sengun, or KPJ. All three should fit right in, and be candidates to win ROTY.

    Banchero is the most NBA ready. Smith is a 2 year project. Holmgren is a 3-4 year project.

    Question is who is in the mood to win now based on payroll. OKC because of SGA. I think Orlando is still 2 years away from caring. TBH, I think the Magic are behind us right now in the rebuild. Their team is garbage.

    Maybe not to keep Paolo, but could OKC extract some assets from the Rockets because they know Houston is locked in on Paolo, and most critically, they know that the Rockets don't have Chet's medicals?

    It has happened before...the Raptors picked Antawn Jamison and extorted some cash and salary savings from Golden State, when they knew they were going to pick Vince Carter the whole time.

    And the Blazers drafted Randy Foye with no intention of keeping him, because they knew that the Rockets had a pre-arranged deal with Minnesota for Brandon Roy.

    If Chet played in the ACC, His numbers would have been garbage. I think he has a ton of potential, but it's essentially like drafting a HS rn.

    we should definitely take 1 and trade them .

    if we can’t get Jabari or Paolo , the next best big In the draft is Duren imo .

    try and parlay our assets into 2 picks between 6-12 and that would be ok . Maybe a future first .

    But hoping for Paolo .

    As of this morning he was saying that the top 3 were increasingly locked in with Jabari at #1, Chet at #2, and Paolo at #3.
