Every time Fischer reports something new I legit wonder if somebody fed him bullshvt. Clutch has Mutombo swatted his intel multiple times recently. I’d wager he’s willingly spreading misinfo to earn his stripes.
Fischer also has Boston and Utah trying to get into the latter half of the first round. Boston has a 2023 1st they can trade and Utah has a 2026 1st they can swap for #26.
A "jrue holiday like package" - oh that makes it very clear! Great metaphor. I'll never forget where i was when Woj dropped the Holiday bomb. I was... somewhere, breathing, on a planet, following curved spacetime around a medium sized star, just minding my own business, not quantum tunneling through anything. I remember it like it was yesterday! Good times.
No, i would rather owe Wall 48 for 1 year than Green 0 and another 38 million in players for multiple years. Both teams are over the cap. The scenario you're proposing would violate the cba.
Looks like the Pistons are all-in on Ayton. If they land Ayton and Ivey in the draft, they just might have themselves a decent team.
CBS sports has Paolo at 3, Dalen Terry at 17, and Wendell Moore at 26. It's astonishing that they have Mark Williams falling to 20.
If we gave them Gordon for #11, Rose, Reddish, and Quickley (or Grimes), they could then not pick up the option on Toppin and Gibson (non guaranteed) for next year and be very close to having the space to offer Brunson a 4/$80m deal.
That's true. Stone might be hoping that the 17th, 26 plus Portland's desire for another veteran might work. That veteran might be Gordon, but young Tate is another possibility. Even that isn't likely to be enough imo.
don't think so either. At this point they may just let nurkic walk and find a way to get one of the bigs thats on the market, as there are a number of them rather than someone like EG
I think Daniels would be perfect for us. I would do 17, 26, Tate and/or KJM, and next year’s FRP top 10 protected. Still don’t think it works, because I think they see Manchurin as insurance in case they have to deal Lilliard at some point.
Yeah, it's going to take a lot more than just Gordon, 17 and 26. I think it takes another first and probably more assets. If they're interested in Tate and/or KJM, maybe that sweetens the pot slightly. I just don't know if that's enough for Portland. If Stone is willing to talk about the Rockets' 2023 pick, then things might get interesting, but if I'm Stone, I only do that if its fairly well protected—at least top 5 if not better. No reason to rush the rebuild. That being said, I'm a big Dyson Daniels fan, and I think he would be a solution to a lot of the issues with the current young core. If you can move up in a position to get him without giving up your best assets, you do it. I just don't think that deal is going to be out there for Stone.
Dyson Daniels makes more sense with Chet/Jabari. Dyson and Banchero are almost duplicative, both big playmakers, and both are below average 3P%. Dyson-Banchero-Sengun would be a spacing problem.
