They will still have to pay Wall, so I doubt if it can work.

thye're new york. why won't it work? trade for wall. pay him, cut him, the whole purpose is for capspace.

cutting any player on a guaranteed contract doesn't create cap space

Wall still has one year, $47M, on his contract. So if the Knicks trade for wall, the best they could do is stretch him for 3 years, with $16M of cap hit per year. That's not nearly enough to get them under the cap in any significant way.

If they want cap room, they'll need to trade their players to teams with cap space or get back non-guaranteed contracts that the Knicks can cut.

I was waiting for someone to tell him … wall does nothing to help them get kyrie unless wall goes to Brooklyn and we get salary filler from both but either way it won’t happen

    New thought...

    To Hawks
    #17, #26, future picks
    Eric Gordon
    David Nwaba
    Kenyon Martin Jr

    To Rockets
    John Collins
    Jalen Johnson

    Draft Ivey at #3

    PG Ivey
    SG Green
    SF J Johnson
    PF Collins
    C Sengun

    6 man: KPJ

I think i like that better than:

    KPJ
    Green
    Gordon
    Banchero
    Sengun

Hoping we pick Paolo and Tari Eason but would love to draft Sochan from Baylor. Also, in free agency i hope we pick Derrick Jones from Chicago and Mo Bamba from Orlando. After buying out Wall and cutting the players from the Wood trade, we can over pay for Mo Bamba. I would trade Tate for a draft pick. Also, maybe cut Garuba and play Tari Eason in his rookie year

Rumor is that Charlotte is “hesitant” to match a max offer for Bridges. I haven’t watched much Hornets (who has?) but if we could create the room maybe via a Gordon trade for a non guaranteed contract is Miles someone worth throwing a max deal to?

Not sure if he can play 3D we would need with Banchero as his shot is below what you’d want in that spot.

He would fit in with the age of our core though.

That's a terrible way to attempt to build a championship team. Very unprofessional. And dumb.

No way he’s worth a max and the rockets would be foolish to waste our precious cap space for bridges.
