I think the biggest assurance is that xiki has thousands of posts, so you know he's addicted to the BBS and will do nothing to jeopardize his membership. A guy with 20 posts doesn't value his membership and won't mind being banned. Xiki would undoubtedly be suicidal without it.

Your rule doesn't always apply, though. I have very few posts but have been a site faithful since back in the 1997 days. I just don't post a lot because it's more entertaining to read. Therefore, for future reference, just be assured that if I ever post any insider info (not likely though) it would be for real.
