I don't think the Hawks would settle for a late first though? Hunter is super talented and they cleared out Reddish to prioritise Hunter.
If they would take that deal it would be amazing - but I don't think they move their youth, more like their vets

    Both are also from Seattle.

    Like Stone and Banchero.

    And KPJ.

The SF spot should be Martin Jr.'s. I want to see him get more consistent minutes.

Maybe Tate is moved in a trade or comes off the bench.

Agreed. He definitely screams Jimmy Butler to me. He’s going to slip and teams will kick themselves for it.

I think you're right it may take more. I'm just surprised they haven't extended him yet if he's their guy. Or maybe you have to wait until July 1 for contract extensions?

Either way, IF we could get him, that would solve the entire SF issue imo. He brings exactly what this team needs.

    Beauchamp shot 24% from 3P.

Certainly not a better 3P than Mathews, KJ or even Tate.

The only player I want from the Hawks is 6'9 point forward Jalen Johnson.

Agree with everything except needing Eason to be Draymond.

Banchero will already be Draymond on offense in terms of being a ball handling playmaking big.

Eason only needs to be Draymond on defense.

But his upside is Matrix or Kawhi imo.

There's no prerequisite to playing the 3. If there are any prerequisites please, let it be that a 6'4" forward not be made to guard centers anymore.

You take anyone off the warriors (minus Curry obviously) and we’d forget they’re in the NBA.

The warriors dynasty was a perfect storm, system players, coach and good fortune all worked out (and the rockets got caught in the middle of this storm a few times when our chances were highest to win it all).

Here’s to hoping the age fast/ or break up.

This notion of playing a 6’4 wing/SF is a joke and needs to stop. EG/Tucker are not the answer (role players off the bench). If KJ develops a consistent jumper maybe he could be the ideal wing. But we need to draft a wing after #3 imo

Would still not be surprised if Gordon was our starting SF to start the season.

I really like MBC but I have Eason as a clear cut above. If KPJ works out for a few years, I think I would want to go a different direction than using Nix.

If Nix is bad ass then great but those minutes need to be a plus defender.

Id would not mind Green/Paolo/Alp/JayGup just covering the roll of backup point guard inside of the rotation. A 3rd Stringer that is a traditional point guard can be brought in but I want those minutes or that role to be a veteran

So get MJB and Eason and work with them big time on the shooting. I have some concerns that Easons percentage this year is a little bit higher than he will ever shoot.
Get 34% between the 2 of them

    Sengun/Garuba/Boban
    Paolo/KMJ
    Eason/MBC
    Green/Gup
    KPJ

To play this year. If it costs Gordon and Tate just to move from 17 to secure Eason so be it.

JC might end up playing the 3. Yes, we need length and athleticism, but it could happen. He's gonna end up around 6'6" 225lbs Early returns are favorable with Kpjr, Green, and JC out there together.

You’re not going to find someone who’s still a literal kid at his height with a man’s mass/strength.
