I think he'll likely sit all season (or the majority of it) but from the videos last year he's far from having declined to the point he'd need to retire. Truth is that Wall's still a serviceable starter most likely, the situation is just wrong for both him and us and there's no easy way out of it.

Honestly, I've always felt that about bench players. He gets great medical treatment and gets to workout for free and basically has free courtside seats to every game. That said, I think the difference between folks like us and Wall is that he's probably dying inside knowing that he's not playing. I hope for everyone's sake we can trade him to somewhere he can at least play. I think he's expiring this year no? Although if he's serious about competing and financially healthy, he could decline it. It's unlikely ofc.
