coulda been fun with harden but he noped out of town for a reason.

later Wood. Hope you can handle the pressure of the playoffs and making shots when Luka is doubled/tripled with all the media attention is on you to score.

Christian Wood appreciation thread didn't make it past page one during his Rockets tenure. There have been ex-Rocket scrubs more appreciated.

He got a lot of cr@p from people but he was brought in for a role on a much different team.

He's really good at a couple of things that are hard to find. He is ideally paired with a rim running center who is a rim protector like a jarrett allen or capela. They use such a center in Dallas so it might work better for him.

I thought it was a win win deal and do think it's possible we could have done a little better but there could still be another part we don't know about yet...

i was pretty excited when he was signed but it was clear to me he was a total flop almost right away, wanted him gone at the 1st trade deadline, last offseason, last trade deadline, and finally it happened!

It’s possible that both we & Dallas are better after the trade. Wood will be in a perfect storm of his career. (I am not a Wood fan but I do wish him well). He maybe everything we hoped for AND MORE but in Dallas. Oddly, I hope he is. Wood was asked to be more then he is capable of here. Wood had grown more than he is capable of here causing him to fall apart a couple times. He and the Rockets needed to part ways because it was not working and starting to hurt the team. Hopefully in a very defined role Wood will become a better player and teammate. I also hope he finds the payday he looking for. I truly believe IF used right Wood could become a difference maker. We are not the team for him anymore.

Thank you Mr. Wood for you service it’s been entertaining.

    Mo wishes he averaged 20/10.

It was just bad timing man, one year earlier and CW would have been celebrated as the final missing championship piece.

    Alas ...

Wood could be a great player. If he would play some defense, we might have compared Jabari Smith to him, and we would not have lost enough games to get Jabari.
