Disney theme parks have a subset of the population who are obsessed with them. Grown ass adults. It's quite bizarre to me.
because they went their as kids and it was a theme park of characters they recognize from their childhood
Oh yea, I have some friends who go twice a year with the whole family, they go to Universal and they always go for the Halloween events, they love it
I don't want kids but it be cool to go with my sister's kids when she has them. My Mom also went with her parents when it first opened so it's kind of a neat family tradition. That said, there's better theme parks and other places I'd much rather go at my age. Disney's special the same way the beach town I went to with my family is special, but it's a big world lol. My sister tries to go every year, went during spring break on college whereas I went to California, Europe, Canada and visited friends at their colleges (I got a handjob at a frat house at Ohio State and that alone is better than any dinner at EPCOT or roller coaster). I doubt China seizes Disney property. There's no need to considering how many loopholes and bullshit you have to go through to do business there. The CCP is making their money and giving their bread and circuses. Same thing when Disney inevitably does business with Dubai.
