And whoever thinks this organization would trade Sengun - you are wrong.

“So we getting 3 or 4 firsts for Wood?” — Poster who shall not be named :D

26th pick? Like we’re not trading Eric Gordon because it was a late first and we don’t want anymore firsts (but we traded Wood for one)?

Wasn’t the biggest Wood fan and I could be wrong (as I often am) but I think Wood will do well in Dallas.

    And future bumps.
    Y U TRADE WOOD?!
U ONLY GET LATE 1ST FOR WOOD?! STUPID STONE!
WOW THEY ONLY RE-SIGNED HIM FOR [$X]THAT?! SHOULD HAVE RE-SIGNED HIM!

Anyways, goodbye to that Scottie Pippen lookin MF. ;)

I think Wood is going to do really well in Dallas so making this point now.

If you accept the premise that Wood has to go and he does blow up in Dallas, the fools will be the other GMs who didn’t make a better offer than Dallas did, not Stone.

Yeah, that's I was getting at with my #1 positive. His minutes are now distributed among players who the Rockets plan to have here for the longterm(and will be far more talented than Wood). Plus it saves them money they clearly will want to spend on other free agents in 2023.

With banchero at 4, sengun should start at 5 but Silas will play Tate at C before letting sengun play. Hell dont be surprised if if the package is 17+26+Sengun to move onto top 10 for a Silas guy

Interesting. I bet we could have gotten more had we taken back non-expirings. Looks like we’re dead set on having a ton of cap space next season.

we know Kidd going to Bully Wood, but I think the only reason why Wood quit on the Rockets because he knew he could. Silas is kind of soft. Wood quitting Kidd, Kidd might do something to his family. Wood be too scared to quit on Luka and Kidd.

This. Sometimes it's about timing and Wood just wasn't going to be part of the Rocket's future.

It just sucks he is going to Southern Oklahoma.

The amount of cap space we about to have for 2023 when Wall & Gordon come off the books

I respect Stone. His one condition with Wall & Gordon has probably been about wanting only expiring contracts probably. He wants to be debt free with nothing but rookie contracts

    Good riddance.

He needed to go because the money he wants, he is not worth.

Draft whoever at 3 and use that 26th plus 17th to move and get another lotto pick if the player is worth it..or just keep the 26th pick and stash a euro.
